A 2-carat diamond will be more expensive than a 1-carat diamond. The second C, quality of cut, is how the gem is cut. Depending on the type of cut, the gem may be worth more. Third, is the clarity of the diamond. The less laser lines, chips, and breaks in the diamond, the more it will be worth. Finally, the fourth C, color. All diamonds may appear to have the same color, but some diamonds have more of a yellow or brown tint to them. Using special magnifying glasses, our staff member will determine the color.
